The second game in the somewhat different
adventure game series Beasley’s Deathtrap. Compared to the first game in
the series which was quite abusive in it’s story nothing has changed. The
story has gotten much better though and so has the graphics. The graphics
are actually very good and this helps a lot compared to the first game as
those graphics were mostly cartoon looking and not very good. In this game
they are very detailed and it brings so much to the game so it is actually
fun to play the game.
The game is very simply. The story is split up into small scenes where you
get two different choices in each scene. Every time it’s very hard to
predict what choice is the best to take as the game surprises a lot and
after you have chosen the wrong choice you often sit with the feeling that
you could never have imagined this would happen in the game. Let me
mention that whenever you choose the wrong choice the game ends as you
have either done something completely wrong (like killing an innocent) or
died yourself. If you choose the correct choice the game will continue in
the story
Sadly you can’t save in the game which can make it a bit boring as you
will have to restart the entire game and if you can remember the correct
choices you have to play the entire game though again until you reach the
point in the game where you lost last time. But if you can live with this
minor annoying factor it’s really worth trying out since Beasley’s
Deathtrap 2 is a different adventure game with a fresh look upon things
