The Simpsons is a great conversion of the arcade game of the same name. The game is based on one of the world's most popular cartoon series of all time. You can choose to play as any of the Simpsons (except Maggie). You can't play as Maggie because of story, here it is: In this episode, the Simpson's troubles begins when Mr. Smithers has kidnapped Maggie. Your mission is to rescue the youngest Simpson from the clutches of the Mr. Smithers.
Each Simpson has her or his own chracteristics and weapons. The best weapon has Bart - his skateboard. He scoots around on his skateboard, which he can use to whack people with the skateboard, or jump over them. Homer hasn't got any weapons, he uses only his own fists and he simply punches all bad guys. Very funny character is Marge - she uses hoover as her weapon. Lisa swings her jumprope around like a whip.
The game has 8 stages and two bonus levels. All stages take place in locations from the show. You can visit Springfield Cemetery, Moe's Tavern, Krustyland, and even The Nuclear Power Plant. On the end of each level is big boss with very high health level.
