Earnon's sun is slowly dying. The scientific community of Xenon starts research of a Star Generator. This device would be capable of turning regular planets into fireballs. The research is conducted aboard a spaceship called the Arcada. After completing the research, the Arcada is returning home triumphantly when it gets attacked by Sariens. The only survivor of the attack is the ship's janitor: Roger Wilco (that's us), who now has to save the whole universe
This game, just like King's Quest I, is extremely old. It uses almost the same interpreter (type-in, etc.) but I don't remember being this annoyed with KQ I. Some actions can only be performed by typing in one particular word and no other. For example: There's a slot on the wall. You can't PUT (the) CARTRIDGE INTO (the) SLOT, or anything like that, the only thing you can do is: INSERT CARTRIDGE. Sometimes I had a hard time trying to do things even when I knew exactly what to do. The graphics and the music are the same as in KQ (shitty and non existent), so I won't waste any time with that. The jokes are pretty good, but that's not enough for a good adventure game. Fortunately there's a VGA version of the game, so you can forget the original
